Our Story


A Piece of Paris was founded out of a passion for baking and the desire to bring the best of world cuisine to India. This undying passion for food was what led founder, Sonal Goel Chopra, to explore authentic food from various parts of the world. It was on one such trip to Paris that she discovered French Macarons and fell in love with them instantly. Today, it is the macaron and other French patisserie that continue to inspire A Piece of Paris.

It is our strong belief that food forms a large and important part of the culture of any country and so it must be experienced in its most genuine form; the way the locals of a city enjoy savouring their favourite treats. One of our core values is to provide an undisputed experience when it comes to world cuisine. We bring to you not fancy fare, but food that is a part of everyday life of people from cities across the world. Our cheese platter for instance, along with macarons, forms one of the most indulgent experiences in the everyday life of a Parisian.

Our keen eye for detail and perseverance has led A Piece of Paris to excel in creating its own unique recipe for macarons; a challenging, yet beautiful confection. Our macarons have been appreciated by consumers not only in Delhi, but also in Paris and London (See video). One of the highlights for A Piece of Paris was receiving appreciation from Chef Nicolas Houchet of Le Cordon Bleu, London (See post) .

The world has a unique host of flavours and it is our endeavour to introduce an assortment of new and delicious global cuisines to our customers.
